Centre for Innovation, Transfer and Monitoring
of Machining Technologies Development
We invite the enterprises of Malopolska area to cooperate with The Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology in Krakow (previous name The Institute of Metal Cutting) on creating The Centre for Innovation, Transfer and Monitoring of Manufacturing Technologies Development. The Action is carried out within the framework of the project realized by financial means of Operational Integrated Program of Region Development (ZPORR) Priority II Action 2.6 - Regional Innovation Strategy and Knowledge Transfer.
Within the framework of the project we planned to create a series of databases dedicated to enterprises and to organize activities connected with new technologies promotion and experience exchange.

I. General information on the Centre
Centre for Innovation, Transfer and Monitoring of Machining Technologies Development
Centre for Innovation, Transfer and Monitoring of Machining Technologies Development is built within the framework of the project No Z/2.12/II/2.6/11/04 carried out by the financial means of the Operational Integrated Program of Region Development (ZPORR), Priority II - Strengthening of human resources in regions, Action 2.6 - Regional Innovation Strategy and Knowledge Transfer.
The aim of the action 2.6 is rising of regions' potential within innovation sphere by strengthening of cooperation between science/research area and economy.
Support for creating regional innovation systems based on Regional Innovation Strategies, which is the chance for Malopolska area development, serves that purpose.
The chances for Malopolska area development are:
- Making use of existing research and development potential
- Concentrating on creating of regional cooperation network that fosters growth of enterprises innovation and supports transfer of those technologies, which give a chance to achieve the competitive supremacy.
Centre activities will foster innovation development of enterprises by:
- Collecting information on technologies,
- Making sources of information on technologies available for enterprises
- Creating of regional cooperation network
II. Range of activities:
- Creating a series of databases dedicated to enterprises
- Organizing activities connected with new technologies promotion and experience exchange.
Databases created in the framework of the Centre range of activities
- Database of Malopolska Enterprises containing data about firms applying new manufacturing technologies and/or interested in information on technologies, new manufacturing technology implementation and experiences exchange.
- Publications database on new manufacturing technologies
- Database of Patents on new manufacturing technologies
- Database of innovative technological offers (new)
- Database of research results and development works for commercial usage (offers ??)
Other activities planned within the framework of the Centre range of activities
- Organising of open days,
- Organising of information days,
- Organising of consulting days,
- Organising of courses and trainings,
- Publishing of Bulletin of the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology
