The International Symposium on Electrochemical Machining Technology INSECT 2012 is a cyclic Symposium, which has become a successful  symposium for ECM technology and this year it will be held in Krakow. It is serving as a platform for researchers and engineers involved in ECM technology. In addition to fundamental investigations of the electrode/electrolyte interface and applied material science, the focus will be on technical aspects like quality, efficiency and equipment development.

By plane

Krakow International Airport has direct flight connection with major European cities with major airlines and cheap flight operators. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the airport to the city center and conference venue. It is possible to travel by public transport (bus, train) and taxi.

By train

Krakow Main Train Station (Kraków Główny) is about 15 minutes walking distance from the conference venue

By car

It is possible to reach Krakow from West or East using highway A4.

From North or South using road S7.
